on monday night moochi presented their latest collection 'the sloanes' as part of the new zealand fashion festival opening show in association with fashion quarterly.
the idea for the show was to encapsulate the most exciting pieces for catwalk pieces from autumn 2011 and to create a new palette for the catwalk with new colour ways, luxe fabrications and indulgent accessories.
for 6 minutes the audience was captivated by striking silhouettes, starting with the ivory winter maxi complete with tibetan lamb sling bag, and golden boss boots and finishing with the quilted leather patchwork cape, proving to be a crowd favourite.
among the outfits were four new limited styles launched on tuesday at moochi refinery (newmarket) and moochi corner (high st) designed for their more fashion conscious customer.
these included the drifter pant, which at first glance appears as a maxi, but is a wide leg culotte, a luxe mocha lace camisole, heavy guipure lace shorts and midi skirt - divine in texture.

the fashion festival has begun and we have huge news!! we filmed our catwalk show at the first night of the festival last night so we could share it with you!!
this is the short version to show you the new styles we created for the show.
+ these will only be in moochi corner and moochi refinery from 9am today.
+ for each of these styles, we only cut 20 units to keep them super special!
+ these are emotional fashion pieces with lace, chiffon and knitted alpaca.
