the outfit: lani wears the admission crop, stud skirt, rev blazer, snip boot, super clutch and cable chain.
the styling tip: lani says "i feel like crop-tops or bralettes can always work if you team it with a high-waist and classic jacket."
the outfit: lani wears the cub shirt, cub shorts, quarter sweat, snip boot, trick hat (coming soon), ID necklace and wrap bracelet.
the styling tip: lani says "break up your matching prints with a simple crop jumper, button blouses right to the top with a couple chunky chains underneath, and the collar sitting over your sweater. plus, take any opportunity to rock what I like to call a 'FASHUN' hat."
the outfit: the wrapped coverall, rev bag and rocket stud necklace.
the style tip: lani says "jumpsuits are just fun, and pretty much anyone who wears one looks like they're having a good time. don't be afraid to go up a size for a comfier, or baggier fit."
the outfit: the rolling dress, snip boots and purr belt.
the style tip: lani says "stripes will never go out of style. a perfect in-between season dress that you can wear on it's own as it starts to cool down and layer up during winter."
my personal style is… pretty simple and a little bit street.
this autumn/winter i can’t wait to wear… nice big cozy coats, and that 'fashun' hat in outfit 3!
on sunday morning you will find me... in bed
my biggest fashion faux pas was... every fashion faux pas comes back into style at some point, i'm just gonna keep past transgressions to myself haha.
at the moment I’m loving… everything high-waisted, black blazers, leather trim and true detective.
we've been loving following the street style photography feeds from the most recent fashion week celebrations in new york, london, milan and paris and one of the colours that has really stood out to us has been the bright bursts of orange seen on the stylish fashion set in these fabulous cities. in the midst of the cold, this colour gives such a great pop of colour and lifts these outfits to stand out in a crowd. these shots from jessie bush's blog we the people show orange in statement outerwear pieces, so we thought we'd experiment with how to incorporate this colour into your wardrobe now - check out the pics below.
style tip: if you love a little pop of colour, but don't like all over brights, try introducing a pop of colour with a sweater tied around the waist or with a top layered under a more subtle jacket. we think orange looks great paired with leather pieces and a black and white pallette to let it really stand out.
outfit 1: model wears drop tee (coming soon), step sweat, rev blazer, rev legs, main boot, studd clutch and ID necklace.
outfit 2: model wears seen top, cub shorts, quilted leather jacket (coming soon), snip boot and ID necklace.

when shooting the look book for our 2014 autumn collection, we knew we wanted to channel some of the timeless glamour and style of our muse for this collection, the character of elvira hancock from the cult classic film scarface. with her impeccably tailored outfits and expensive dresses, this woman screams excess. our friends at m.a.c cosmetics and redken new zealand helped us to translate this super-glam style into a modern look fit for the moochi woman. see their tips below for how to recreate this look.
create the look: face
foundation: m.a.c face and body foundation
concealer: m.a.c correct and conceal palette
eyelids: m.a.c groundwork paint pot
crease: m.a.c omega eye shadow
mascara: m.a.c false lash mascara
lips: m.a.c cherry lip pencil + m.a.c russian red lipstick
create the look: hair
step 1: apply pillow proof express primer to towel dried hair. then layer a small amount of aerate bodifying cream mousse over the top, and comb through
step 2: blow dry hair until half dry
step 3: then use a medium sized round brush and continue to blow dry adding volume into the air, starting at the top, then the sides before finishing at the back. hot tip - it's easier if you use sectioning clips to isolate sections while blow drying
step 4: once drying is complete, flick your head over and run your fingers through your hair to loosen up the shape before sprinkling through powder grip hair powder into the roots and lengths for extra volume and texture
step 5: flick your head back and using a finishing brush, start to brush the front section forward to create side swept fringe and brush the sides back off your face for soft movement and body
step 6: apply control addict 28 extra high-hold hairspray for mega holding power.

julia and libby are two sisters with great style who are lovers of everything that nourishes the body, mind and soul. their blog juliaandlibby.com provides daily inspiration to our team here and moochi - it's a great go-to resource when we're looking for a new guilt-free recipe or tasty snack ideas. as well as having a great approach to food (check out their instagram for some seriously yummy meals!), they also have a fun and feminine everyday style we love.
recently we caught up with the pair to find out how to kick the year off right with some good food habits and to see how moochi fits in with the busy lifestyles of these two up-and-comers – they took their pick of our amazing new styles hitting stores over the coming weeks and showed us how they would style these pieces as part of their everyday wardrobe.

julia & libby's top three cleansing foods:
“the nutritional benefits of beetroots are huge! they are fantastic cleansers. the choline contained in beetroot helps to detoxify your whole system of excessive alcohol and the juice is very healing for liver toxicity, which is why it’s so great to drink after the holiday period when our livers may be in need of some love! a healthy liver is so important as without it you will feel sluggish, low in energy and may be at risk of further health complications," says julia and libby.
2. leafy greens
“kale, spinach, broccoli, mustard greens, cabbage and swiss chard are nutrient rich foods bursting with important vitamins, minerals, enzymes and phytonutrients. packed full of soluble and insoluble fibre which helps to absorb excess toxins and cholesterol and is important for providing food for the good bacteria needed to regulate the growth of pathogens in the intestines. they also provide vitamins K, C, E, and many of the B vitamins as well as beta carotene and lutein which protect cells from damage," they said.
“grapefruit contains high amounts of vitamin C, A, E, B and K. a grapefruit's distinct color comes from a carotenoid phytonutrient called lycopene. this phytonutrient helps fight free radicals, which can damage cells. limonoids in grapefruits is another phytonutrient that protects cells. red grapefruits have higher levels of antioxidants, which build up the body’s immune system and protect cells against damage," adds julia and libby.
