orders are processed monday to friday (excluding public holidays). orders received on weekends and holidays will be processed the next business day. availability of products is not guaranteed. if you have ordered an item that is not available or that is delayed, we will notify you via email or telephone, at which time you will have the option of choosing a different item or receiving a refund.

how to make a return

please contact us within 3 days of receiving your goods if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we can offer you a refund or exchange.

between 3 and 10 days after delivery we will exchange goods for a different size, dependant on stock availability or we will credit your online account for returns for a different colour or style.

from the 11th day after delivery all sales are considered final.

tips for better handling of your returns

items should be returned within five days of receiving your r.a. number or your r.a. number may expire.

please ensure you affix the appropriate return postage to your package. we do not accept responsibility until goods are received into our warehouse.

we will advise you once we have received your goods for processing.

we have the right to deny a return, if the goods returned do not meet our return policy requirements.

if you return items without meeting our return policy criteria you will be responsible for the return shipping to get your goods returned.

incorrect size

items exchanged for a different size will be processed and shipped at our cost.if we do not have the requested size in stock you will be granted a refund (for the returned goods) or credit to your online account (for the returned goods and your original shipping costs). to ensure the best possible fulfilment on your size request, we recommend that you let us know your required size when contacting us for your r.a. number. this way we can reserve that garment for you.  

exchange for a different colour or style

if you wish to exchange your item for an alternative style or colour you have up to 10 days from receiving your goods to make contact with us to receive your r.a. number. we will process a credit onto your online account for the returned items, which you can then use to purchase the new item in a separate transaction in your own time. account balances are not refundable. unfortunately, your original postage and/or import duty, customs fees and local sales taxes (levies) charged are not refundable.

refunds

refunds will only be authorised if you make contact within 3 days of receiving your goods. you will be given an r.a. number at the time of your contact. returns are credited in the same manner in which they were originally paid. unfortunately, your original postage and/or import duty, customs fees and local sales taxes (levies) charged are not refundable.

credits to online accounts

credits to your online account can be made if you make contact within 10 days of receiving your goods. If you are returning goods for a size exchange and we cannot fulfil your request your credit will also include the original shipping cost.

faulty goods

all moochi products carry a guarantee on faulty workmanship and materials for the expected life of that product. items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. it is at the discretion of moochi to determine fault. if you would like to return a faulty item, follow the standard returns procedure. upon accepting the fault of the product, we firstly have the option to repair the faulty item or replace it for the same product in the same size at our discretion. if we cannot repair or fulfill with a replacement you will receive a credit or refund including your original postage charges, unfortunately any import duty, customs fees and local sales taxes (levies) charged are not refundable.

lost returns

moochi cannot be held responsible for reimbursement or compensation for lost returns packages sent to us, without proof of delivery. we suggest you insure your return package.

personalised products

our above returns policy does not apply to personalised products. so please check all details carefully before ordering. products will be produced exactly as you have stated including treatment of upper and lower cases. accents and other symbols cannot be printed. any errors in personalisation details on your part will be your responsibility and the personalised product cannot be returned for replacement or refund. if personalised products are faulty, we will meet our obligations under the consumer guarantees act to provide a remedy.

moochi garment and leather care outlined for your convenience....

always follow washing instructions inside your garment

always hand wash reasonably quickly (5-10 minutes) in cold water and do not leave garments soaking.

make sure the detergent is fully dissolved before submerging your garment. direct contact with any detergent can bleach fabric or weaken fibres

always thoroughly rinse your garment after washing to remove any detergent residue. this will prevent deterioration of fibres.

never soak your garment, immediately line dry after gently squeezing out excess water by rolling in a towel.

dry your gorgeous garment in the shade, our sun is pretty powerful in new zealand and we don't want it to discolour your clothes

don't use pegs! They can leave son delicate and thick fabrics

if you have a stain or mark you want to try and remove, we recommend leaving it to the experts and taking into your local drycleaner for advice.

the dryer will shrink your fabric – don't do it, even for your 'b&b' basics unless stated on the care label

make sure your deodorant, lotions and sprays are completely dry before getting dressed especially sunscreen

never spray perfume (or anything) directly on clothing or jewellery

moochi stands behind you for manufacturing faults but we cannot be held responsible for any other damage to fabric, naturally silks and fancy fabrics are more tricky than basic cottons.

leather goods

the most common stains to remove from handbags are finger marks, but simple regular treatments will stop them from building up into unsightly stained areas.

the kind of cleaning treatment you should use depends as always on the type of leather your bag, garment or shoes are made from. here are a few tips to handbag care...

grain leather

regularly dust or brush with a soft brush, or wipe clean with a slightly damp cloth.

treatment with proprietary cleaners or polishers should be carried out sticking strictly to the care instruction. never use excessive quantities of any product... the less the better.

once or twice a year the handbag should be wiped with a cloth dampened with white spirit to thoroughly cleanse the leather surface from old and discoloured waxes, etc. it should then be given a very light treatment with a proprietary polish, and finally rubbed up with a soft clean cloth.
patent leather bags

clean with a damp cloth, plus a little neutral detergent if needed.

pigskin leathers should be treated with a silicone preparation to protect them.

minor contamination on all grain leathers can frequently be removed by gentle rubbing with a soft rubber eraser.

suede leather

brush regularly with a soft suede brush or rub gently with a plastic foam block.
minor stains and marks may be removed with a hard rubber eraser, or by touching up the surface with a fine emery paper.

the leather should retain its colour and appearance if it is regularly treated with an protective aerosol spray product. these make the leather water repellent, and offer protection from grease and dust.

caring for leather footwear

your shoes tell the story of your journey. they look after your feet, and to do that properly you need to care for them properly too. this section looks at caring for grain leather, suede and nubuck shoes.
wearing a pair of shoes on alternate days prolongs their life and helps keep them looking smart and feeling comfortable.

using a good cream or polish is essential to preserve the leather and keep shoes looking good.

clean footwear with a brush or damp cloth before applying a good quality shoe cream or polish of the appropriate colour.

suede/nubuck shoes

suede shoes can be really hard to maintain, especially if it isn't done on a regular basis or marks are left on the shoes for too long. basically suede leathers don't have a protective finish on them and can soak up stains really easily – if you spill red wine on beige suede shoes you'll certainly know about it!

It is recommended that you purchase a suede cleaner/protectant. in general this isn't a gimmick – it's sound advice since suede's are so easily soiled, and the best way to care for them is to protect them from soiling rather than removing the soiling once it is established!

if you can, it's a good idea to remove mud while it's still moist by gentle scraping with a blunt knife, and then soaking up what's left on the shoe with a wet cloth. keep rinsing the cloth out as you go to stop any dirt being put back onto the suede though! then clean the upper with a nail brush and small amount of water, but do not use any detergents since this may spoil the water resistance of the shoe.
if the shoes have dried with mud on, here a few tips to help you care for your suede shoes :
• scrape off as much mud as possible with a blunt knife.
• wash off the rest with water using a cloth or brush
• allow the shoes to dry in an airy place – not on a radiator!
• brush out any remaining dusts with a suede brush
nubuck shoes can generally be cleaned by wiping with a cloth dipped in slightly soapy warm water. there are also special products for cleaning and protecting nubuck footwear. protection using sprays and foams is crucial to maintaining nubuck shoes.

restoring the nap...

brushing is always best with a suede brush and a circular motion is recommended. to raise a nap on small stubborn areas you can try rubbing gently with emery paper or using a blunt knife. a quick tip is that brushing when damp is more effective for restoring appearance. you can dampen the suede by holding it 6 inches from a steaming kettle spout.

this agreement is a contract between the customer ("you") and clothing journey new zealand ltd, trading as moochi. registered office c/-gilligan rowe & associates ltd, level 6/135 broadway, newmarket, auckland , new zealand.

the terms and conditions under which you may purchase products from www.chr7999.e-retailer.co.nz are set out below. please read the following terms and conditions carefully before placing your order with moochi.

by completing the customer application process and using www.chr7999.e-retailer.co.nz you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement.

1) the agreement

the entire agreement between you and moochi for the purchase of goods by you from moochi is:
(a) these conditions; and (b) the terms of the order.
the agreement exists between you and moochi, once moochi receives and accepts an order. no obligation to sell or supply the goods will arise until the order is received and accepted. each order may be accepted by moochi at its absolute discretion. each order is a separate agreement.

2) purchase orders and delivery of goods

you will place an order with moochi by selecting goods, entering your personal and payment details and pressing the "submit" button.
anyone at the delivery address who receives the goods shall be presumed by moochi to be authorised to receive the goods on your behalf.
(a) to the adult person who placed the order, or
if there is no-one at the delivery address at time of delivery you will need to make alternate arrangements regarding a suitable time with the carrier. you may be required to pay an additional fee. deliveries will occur between 7.00am-6pm monday to friday. exact times cannot be given.
delivery charges cover packaging, delivery and insurance.

3) risk and title

risk and title in the goods passes to you upon delivery of the goods to the delivery address.
if you are not satisfied with the goods you have purchased, you may contact moochi at orders@moochi.co.nz or +64 9 358 2138 within 3 days of receiving your goods to request a return authorisation (ra).
merchandise in saleable condition with all original tags attached may be exchanged for another size or for a store credit when accompanied by the original order receipt, an online store return form and ra number.
after 10 days sales are final. all sale items, phone orders and pre orders are final upon purchase. no price adjustments.
returns must be by registered post. moochi will not be responsible for return shipping costs nor duty reimbursement in the case of international purchases (other than faulty items).
items you exchange for a different size it will be shipped at our cost. if we do not have the required size in stock you will be granted a refund. if you change your mind, the garment you exchange it for will incur postage costs. if you wish to exchange your item for an alternative style, we suggest that you return it for a store credit and purchase the new item separately.
if you are outside of new zealand you will need to pay for duties and taxes on the replacement item (other than faulty items).

4) price of goods and payment

the price you shall pay for the goods shall be the price specified on the website. you also agree to pay the delivery and handling fee including goods and services tax (new zealand only) which moochi is required to collect from you. you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to; payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival.
moochi prices are subject to variation without notice. the price payable for the goods shall be the price applicable on the date the goods are confirmed as ordered.
(a) payment upon placement of order
you shall pay for the goods at the time you order. debit card, mastercard, visa, american express and paypal are accepted by moochi.

5) packaging and labeling of goods

all goods sent out by moochi will be sent out in the most suitable packaging for the item/items purchased to ensure protection of the item. care labels will appear on all garments and should be followed strictly.

6) license

you are licensed to use the moochi website on your computer for your use in purchasing goods from moochi. you acknowledge that you are not permitted to make any other use of the moochi website.

7) intellectual property rights

you acknowledge that moochi or its related corporations own or are licensed to use all intellectual property rights in moochi (including, but not limited to, any images, photographs or text which appears on the website). you agree that you will make no representation to the contrary, and that you must not use or copy moochi in any manner which is inconsistent with the rights of the owner or licensee of such intellectual property rights.
you acknowledge that any trademarks or logos which appear on the moochi website are owned by or licensed to moochi, and that you must not do anything to prejudice the rights of the trade mark owner or licensee to such trademarks or logos.

8) liability

to the extent permitted by law, you agree that any liability of moochi arising out of or in connection with any breach of any express or implied warranty or condition in respect of goods or services supplied to you through use of moochi will be limited to:
(a) if the condition relates to goods, the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods; and
(b) if the condition relates to services, the supplying of the services again or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
you agree that the entire risk arising out of installation, downloading, use or performance of moochi remains with you. to the extent permitted by law, you release and discharge moochi and its related corporations from all forms of direct, special, indirect or consequential loss or damage (including loss of profits, loss of data or loss or damage that may reasonably have been supposed to have been in the contemplation of the parties as at the date of this agreement) arising out of or in connection with moochi or this agreement, including, without limitation, loss or damage caused by the negligence of moochi or its related corporations.

9) security

if you are issued with a password by moochi, you agree to take responsibility for the safekeeping of your password. you are liable if an unauthorised person uses your password. you agree to release and forever indemnify moochi in relation to any liability howsoever arising out of the unauthorised use of your password.

10) notification of changes

moochi may add to, delete, or otherwise change any of the terms of this agreement. your use of the moochi service will constitute your deemed acceptance of such changes.

however please be aware that you may lose any benefits associated with being subscribed to our communication systems if you opt out, without warning.

if contacting our web administration please be sure to include your full name and the email address you used when you registered with or made a purchase from moochi. if you ask us to remove your name and address from promotional lists, we will maintain your name in a "do not contact" file to ensure that we can honour your request. it may take up to 10 working days to process your email request, during which period you may continue to receive communications from moochi.

if you change your mind you can start receiving promotional communications from us again by logging into your online account and changing your preferences, by signing up when you visit our website or our stores or when you contact our web administration.

for every $600 spent, a credit of $50 will be put on your moochi money account!

general
to belong to the moochi money program and have an up to date account in your name you must provide to us a valid email address and cellphone number, and keep these active. failure to keep these valid and active (i.e. unsubscribing or opting out of communications from moochi) will terminate your account and expire any moochi money on the account.
to help us to record your moochi money accurately, you must provide your customer number when making a qualifying purchase at any participating moochi store or online.
moochi money is earned through making qualifying purchases and may only be earned and redeemed by the person named on the account. moochi money is not transferable.
we are not responsible for any moochi money that doesn't appear in your account if a sales person fails to credit moochi money to your account or for any other reason. we will only enter into discussions or correspondence with you, about crediting missing moochi money to your account if you supply proof (the original purchase receipt) of your qualifying purchase. your claim for missing moochi money must be made within three months of the original purchase date
you cannot earn moochi money on qualifying purchases that are not paid for in full or to the extent that the applicable purchase transaction is returned, refunded, or where payment is disputed or is likely to be disputed. returns must be accompanied by the original receipt. moochi money cannot be transferred or refunded in cash.
we reserve the right to retrospectively adjust your account in the event of incorrect entries due to our mistake or otherwise. we will not provide any consideration for any moochi money that we deduct.

earning moochi money
we calculate the moochi money you earn, on qualifying purchases, by using the ‘accumulated value of qualifying purchases’ reaching a specified value. we will then calculate your moochi money and credit your account when this value is reached. moochi money does not qualify towards the ‘accumulated value’ calculation.

expiry
moochi money you earn is available for redemption for a period of six months from your last qualifying purchase. as long as there is activity on your account every six months then your moochi money will not expire. if there has been no activity on your account for more than six months, all moochi money on your account will expire and be removed.

redeeming moochi money
moochi money can be redeemed on all qualifying purchases made at any participating moochi store or online. a maximum of $50 moochi money is redeemable per item in each transaction. a qualifying purchase for redeeming moochi money is a purchase of goods at recommended retail price, rrp.
examples of purchases you cannot redeem your moochi money on are, but not limited to:

  • items already discounted from rrp
  • deposit or payments against laybys
  • in conjunction with any other offer or voucher, unless that offer specifically allows the use moochi money in writing
  • purchasing items for another person


variation to the moochi money programme
the terms of this programme may be varied from time to time at the absolute sole discretion of moochi management. changes will be notified to all account holders by way of the valid and active email address associated with the account. we will not provide any consideration for benefits gained or lost by these changes.

termination of your moochi money programme
we reserve the right to cancel your account at any time without notice and without giving a reason for doing so. we will not provide any consideration for moochi money you've earned but not redeemed, at the time of termination.
